Internal review
An internal review is the studio's critique of a design before the client sees it. It checks the work against the brief and catches errors that the team has stopped noticing.
Why it matters
The internal review protects the client experience. A client who finds a typo or a missing page loses confidence in the whole project.
Example
The creative lead and the account lead review a brochure against the brief, then mark the file approved for client review.
