Glossary
Annotation
An annotation is a comment tied to a location or an element on a proof. It can include text, a drawing, a measurement or a link, and it stays with the version it was made on.
Why it matters
Annotations preserve the context of the feedback. A comment without a location is easier to misread and harder to resolve.
Example
The reviewer annotates the logo on page 2 with a note about the clear space.
