Should I include a buffer?
A buffer covers the review, the file prep and the messages around the work. It is not a markup; it is time the studio will spend but may not put in the original estimate.
Is the result a quote?
No. It is an estimate based on the inputs. The change order should state the actual fee, the deliverables and the revised dates.
